not caring about clubbing every night in the meatpacking district with your blonde passe or hooking up with A&F models
scooting off for my basketball games and gym every little chance I get
“All you do is work and work out” “Do you even club?”
I don’t act as how I want to be today. I act as how I’d like to be tomorrow.
Thing is, people will always judge and be uncomfortable with your lifestyle if it deviates from them. I’m not saying don’t live a little… I go to happy hour way too much.. but if you wanna live? Make sure it’s YOUR life that you’re living.
This is the most nervous I’ve been since moving here. I wasn’t getting many responses back and we didn’t have much wiggle room. Luckily we found a really nice couple who was eager to find a renter. The space is really great and right near the river and a park. I’m so happy right now.
As you know my sister and I moved to NYC about 3 months ago. It’s been the greatest so far but right now we have a bit of a problem. Our roommate is moving out of state at the end of the month so we have to move out by this weekend (we’re only subletting). If anyone has a room they are looking to rent out or know of someone who does please let me know asap! Oh and reblog this too if you can. Thanks!
Obviously ABC went forward with airing Glass House. A judge denied CBS’s petition to stop the premiere Monday night but with no success. How does CBS respond? By mocking ABC of course! Below is an official Press Release from CBS…
CBS ANNOUNCES DEVELOPMENT OF “DANCING ON THE STARS,”
I’d say it’s a little bit hilarious and immature. I got a kick out of it at any rate.
Help Wanted: Vol. Sike, We Really Don't Have Any Jobs For You...
Here goes another hiccup in the project that is Move: NYC. We found out in late May that we would need to move out of our current sublet at the end of June. Not a problem, we wanted to start looking for a permanent place right about then anyway. So my sister and I have been checking out apartments, mostly in Queens. As we were on ou way to a Broker’s office yesterday I received a message from a place that I interviewed with and got both a verbal and written offer from that basically said we can’t hire anyone right now because we don’t know when we’ll be an official place of business. Not exactly the news I wanted to hear when looking at a super cheap and uncute, leaky apartment. So now, it looks like I’m going to have to start looking for a job again and go through that entire process again. Sigh!
I was really excited to start working there too. It’s such a great organization and the facility promises to be even better! What’s worse, I’ve turned down a number of interviews in the past couple weeks because I “just knew” I had this one waiting in the wings. I guess this is the type of thing that builds character ehh?
