I’ve decided to start the Couch to 5K training schedule again. With limited gym access and a great park with a running track and trails just a few blocks away I figure I should take advantage. Perhaps this will give me the kick in the pants I need to get me motivated again. One step at a time… right?
I like reading user reviews, it helps me find the unknown gems in a city, you just have to weed through all the crap posts like “this place sucks, I gave them 1 Star because they didn’t bring me a straw!”
Lol… While not very helpful, sometimes are those are funny.
I’m so excited to go to restaurant week in New York this year. I’ve actually never been in the city while the event was going on so now I’m taking advantage while I can. Right now I’m looking to get reservations at Blue Water Grill, Butter and a couple of others depending on a couple of friendly suggestions so expect many pictures and Four Square check-ins!
It seems I’ve opened up a can of worms by signing up for Grub Hub. I can’t seem to stop ordering food and being that there are oh so many options I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. Just now I ordered Japanese, yesterday it was Sandwiches and before that Empanadas. None of which has disappointed so far. Not only is it convenient but they also do giveaways! I’ve gotten a free drink and 5 bucks off of my order and that’s only after using it a few days. I am certain this will be the death of me!
Welp, time to grab this order and prepare for another week of work and an insane episode of Big Brother 14.
I’ve got so many recipe ideas and no way to execute them. Not only that but I REALLY miss my bender. I haven’t had a smoothie since being in New York. I’ve almost resorted to going to Jamba Juice but we all know how much sugar are in those. Hopefully everything falls into place in the next month or so so we can move to a permanent place and I can get my schedule back on track. Oye Vey!
