Not the most productive of months in terms of these goals but hey, that’s why we make them right?

February Goals Revisited

  • Take scouting trip (From January)

I haven’t officially taken this trip but my ticket is booked for late March so I’m counting this as D-U-N. Done :)

  • Complete Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred

I had a minor setback here when I had my wisdom teeth removed and couldn’t work out for a week so I’m not quite done with this one yet.  I’m currently on level 3 Day 3 so I am almost done.  Lookign forward to seeing this completed next month!

  • Complete weeks 7-9 of C25k program

Same as above.  The workouts are getting harder and I’m getting stubborn.  I plan to finish this in the next two weeks.

  • Sign up for 1st 5k
  • Run 1st 5k

These two go together since of course I couldn’t run for a little bit and I didn’t finish my training.  Must. Get. Over. Metal. Hump!

I’m putting these two goals on hold until I catch up on my miles for the year and I’m settled down wherever I’m going to be.  Expect to see a return to the goals list, ya hear?

  • Read 2 books

Finally! Something else I can cross off.  I read 13 Reasons Why and Dexter in the Dark this month.  I’m also about halfway done with Satan’s Sisters.  New book suggestions are always welcome.

  • Get 6+ consecutive hours of sleep per night
  • Unplug myself from phones, computers, iPads etc. by 10 pm

Failed miserably at these.  I didn’t even really try to be honest and it doesn’t help that I read or hear about a new study every other week that totally justifies my horrible sleeping habits.  I will work on this much more this coming month.

March Goals

  • Complete Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred
  • Complete weeks 7-9 of C25k program
  • Read 2 books
  • WORK ON getting 6+ consecutive hours of sleep per night
  • WORK ON unplugging myself from phones, computers, iPads etc. by 11 pm
  • Work on getting new job asap! (Since I no longer have one, EEK!  Maybe I’ll do a post on that later but the short of it is… I’m moving :).  Date is set, tickets are being booked and fears/excitement are high)
  • No late night sleepy snacking - I’ve noticed a pattern of mine where I fall asleep earlier than expected and then when I wake up at like 12 am I end up mindlessly eating whatever is available to me.  This must stop.  I will probably slip up a few times but I need to try and curb this little habit I seem to have developed over the past few months.
